We have three convenient ways for you to join RIPEA or renew your membership:

  1. Either retired OR active employees may use our online form to join or renew your membership.
  2. If you are retired, you may choose to download the Membership Form For Retirees.
  3. If you are an active employee (That is, still working in a PERF covered position), you may choose to download the Membership Form for Active Employees.

The following are details you will want to know:

Retired or Active Employees

The RIPEA Board of Directors reluctantly voted to increase RIPEA membership dues from $15.00 per year to $18.00 effective January 1, 2019.  However, when you complete the online form if you select one of the “Set Up Recurring Payments” options, to have your dues automatically collected each year in January, your annual dues will be $15.00. 

If you are retired or an active employee still working in a PERF covered position and wish to join RIPEA, you may use our online membership form to become a RIPEA member or renew your membership.  Click on the following blue text below to access the online form.

Memberships are from January 1 through December 31, but you may join or renew anytime during the year.

Retirees

The RIPEA Board of Directors reluctantly voted to increase RIPEA membership dues from $15.00 per year to $18.00 effective January 1, 2019.  However, if you download and sign the RIPEA Membership Form For Retirees and authorize PERF to deduct $15.00 from your pension check each year automatically in January, your annual dues will be $15.00.

You have the option of either mailing your completed and signed form to RIPEA or scanning it in and attaching it to an email sent to RIPEA.  The form must be received in the RIPEA office by November 15 to be deducted for the following year.  You may join or renew your membership anytime during the year.  The RIPEA office address is at the top of the form and below and the email address is: This email address is being protected from spambots. Example:  If your form is received in the RIPEA office on or before November 15, 2018, your dues will be deducted from your January, 2019 PERF check or deposit.  If your form is received in the RIPEA office on November 16, 2018, or after this date, your dues will be deducted from your January, 2020 check or deposit.

If you authorize pension deduction of your RIPEA dues and at a later date decide to revoke it, just contact the RIPEA office at: (317) 789-0244 or 1 (800) 345-9214.

Active Employees

The RIPEA Board of Directors reluctantly voted to increase RIPEA membership dues from $15.00 per year to $18.00 effective January 1, 2019.  However, if you authorize RIPEA to collect your membership dues automatically each year by using your Debit/Credit Card information you will save $3 and your annual dues will be $15.00 instead of $18.00. 

To get this discount either use the RIPEA Online Membership Application Form (The link to it is below.) or download the Membership Form For Active Employees, and call the RIPEA office to give them your Debit/Credit Card number.  Please sign your name and add the date on the RIPEA Membership Form for Active Employees in the “Pay By Debit/Credit Card” section (Click on the blue text “Download Membership Form For Active Employees” below).  Please mail your completed and signed form to RIPEA or scan it and attach it to an email.  The RIPEA office address is at the top of the form and below and the email address is: This email address is being protected from spambots. If you authorize RIPEA to collect your membership dues automatically each year by using your Debit/Credit Card information and at a later date decide to revoke it, just contact the RIPEA office at: (317) 789-0244 or 1 (800) 345-9214.

If you wish to authorize RIPEA to collect your membership dues for this coming year only, the dues are $18.00.
